The Role: What you’ll be doing As Audit Senior, you’ll take responsibility for planning and delivering audit assignments and supporting junior team members. Key responsibilities include: Leading audits from planning through to completion, including on-site work where required Preparing and reviewing audit files and financial statements Building strong relationships with clients and acting as a day-to-day point of contact Identifying and communicating audit findings clearly and professionally Supporting and mentoring junior staff on assignments Working closely with managers/partners to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met What our client is looking for To be a strong match for this role, you’ll typically have: 3 years’ UK accountancy practice experience (audit-focused) Experience leading audits (or acting as the main senior on-site) ACA / ACCA part-qualified or qualified (or equivalent) Strong working knowledge of UK auditing standards and compliance Confidence preparing/reviewing audit files and financial statements Excellent communication skills for client-facing work Full UK driving licence (preferred, depending on client site requirements) Location & working arrangements Sheffield (office-based with client site visits as required) Working pattern and flexibility will be discussed at interview, with a focus on what supports delivery and team collaboration.
