We are working with an established business who are looking for an experienced Standalone HR Generalist to join the business in a standalone role. Reporting into the CEO and working in a generalist HR role, the role will be both strategic and operational, leading on all HR matters, liaising with employees and providing advice and guidance when necessary. This is a generalist role so all round HR experience within a similar position if essential. Ideally candidates will come have manufacturing or FMCG sector experience. Key duties and responsibilities: * Managing the HR function, including recruitment, onboarding and offboarding, performance management and employee relations * Training and development as well as rewards * Liaising with managers and senior leaders to coach and advise on people issues, from conduct to capability * Ensuring company compliance is inline with UK employment law, health & safety requirements, and company policies * Overseeing absence management, shift patterns, and workforce planning to support production needs * Driving initiatives to keep improving employee engagement, retention, and wellbeing * Keeping HR systems & records up to date as well as reporting and liaising with payroll * Organisational development, succession planning, and culture-building * Managing any external HR/ER advisors and liaising with trade union/employee representatives if needed Key skills: * CIPD Qualified * Strong experience within manufacturing or FMCG sector * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * HR generalist experience within small or standalone role Great opportunity to join an established and well respected business, in a truly generalist HR role.
