Minibus Driver & Activities Coordinator (30 Hours per Week)
Location:Wilton Manor Care Home, Melton Mowbray
Hours:30 hours per week (flexibility required, including some weekends)

This is a unique and rewarding role combining driving responsibilities with planning and delivering engaging activities for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
* Safely drive our residents to and from outings, appointments, and community events in the homes minibus.
* Engage and build strong connections with residents, understanding their interests and preferences.
* Work closely with ourLifestyle Leadto help design and deliver a varied, fun, and meaningful activity programme.
* Collaborate with ourMarketing Teamto capture engaging photos and videos for social media, showcasing the life and vibrancy of Wilton Manor.
* Support the team in ensuring all activities are inclusive, person-centred, and enriching.
* Assist with the setup, running, and participation in daily activities within the home.
* Ensure the minibus is well-maintained, clean, and safe for residents at all times.
Requirements:
* Must hold a valid D1 driving licence(essential for driving our minibus).
* A friendly, dynamic, and approachable personality with a natural ability to engage others.
* An eye for detail and creativity, especially when supporting the marketing team with content creation.
* A flexible attitude, with availability to work some weekends as required.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* A genuine passion for enhancing the lives of older people.
* Good knowledge of thelocal area, including routes, points of interest, and community venues.
* Previousexperience working in a care home or similar setting, with an understanding of residents' needs and preferences.
* Experience supporting or coordinating activities and events.
* Basic photography or videography skills to assist with content for social media.
