Food & Beverage Lecturer & Restaurant Coordinator. Permanent, part‑time (0.7 PTE). Salary £22,642 to £28,389 per annum. We are seeking a dynamic, passionate lecturer & coordinator to join a college in Southport, combining high‑quality teaching with hands‑on restaurant management, shaping future hospitality professionals.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging, industry‑relevant teaching to 16–18‑year‑old learners across Level 1, 2 and 3 programmes in Food and Beverage Service.
* Plan and deliver practical sessions in a professional restaurant environment.
* Coordinate daily lunch services and occasional evening events.
* Manage student rotas, service planning and operational logistics.
* Maintain high standards of service, professionalism and customer experience.
* Support student development, employability skills and progression.
* Ensure health & safety, food hygiene and safeguarding standards are met.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
* Strong background in hospitality/food & beverage service.
* Teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one).
* Experience working with 16–18‑year‑old learners (desirable).
* Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
* Passion for developing young people.
* Ability to manage practical learning environments effectively.
* High professional standards and strong industry knowledge.
