Salary:petitive, dependent on experienceAbout the RoleWe are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teacher to join one of our weing Sefton primary schools. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator who ismitted to supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs, ensuring they receive the personalised, high‑quality learning experience they deserve.
You will work closely with the school’s leadership team, SENCO, support staff and families to deliver inclusive, engaging, and effective teaching across the KS1 and/or KS2 age range.
Key Responsibilities
1. Plan and deliver differentiated lessons tailored to individual SEN pupils needs.
2. Create a supportive, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
3. Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and external specialists
4. Develop and implement EHCP targets and personalised learning plans
5. Monitor progress and maintain accurate pupil records
Qualifications & Experience Needed Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching in a primary school setting
Proven experience supporting pupils with SEN needs (, ASC, ADHD, SEMH, MLD, SLD)
Strong behaviour management skills
Understanding of EHCPs, SEN frameworks and inclusive classroom strategies
A proactive,passionate and resilient approach to teaching
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain)
