About The Role

Hesley Group is recruiting for an Advanced Practitioner to work between - The Limes in Denaby Main and The Paddocks in Wadsworth.
This is a significant position within the service, as the Advanced Practitioner will have responsibility to support and develop the operational team in their knowledge and understanding, ensuring that the people we support receive a high-quality, outcome-focused, and personalized service that meets their needs.
Working as part of the local senior management team, this role involves developing and implementing bespoke plans to meet the individual needs of the people we support. This will enable people we support to have the best possible quality of life and to grow in confidence, competence, and personal effectiveness.
You will be expected to competently use all IT systems deployed by the group, focusing on care and support software and incident management software, and ensure that accurate records are kept for each individual regarding the support they receive. This includes managing incidents with clear follow-up, debriefs, lessons learned, and continuous improvement feedback.
You will also be expected to train, coach, and support staff to implement strategies and advise on best practices to ensure we meet the individual needs of the people living within the service.
This role does not offer remote working and is not office-based. It requires spending time with the support staff and team leaders, working face-to-face to help the people we support achieve their aspirations and goals.
The role is 40 hours a week, usually Monday to Friday, but may include some weekends and late shifts to meet the needs of the two services.

About You

We are looking for someone with a successful track record of working with adults with learning disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorder, as well as behaviors of concern.
You will be a positive role model and coach for the team, self-directed with excellent organizational skills, reliable, and able to see tasks through to completion.
You should be committed and enthusiastic about helping the people we support achieve the best possible outcomes and quality of life.
A full UK Driving license and access to your own vehicle are required, as you will need to respond between the two services.
