Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer
Location: Redhill, Surrey
Salary / Benefits: £26k - £34k + Company Vehicle + Benefits
Long established Water Hygiene Company are currently recruiting for an experienced Water Hygiene Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will be traveling across the South Wales / South West region, undertaking the full range of water hygiene duties to hot and cold domestic water systems. Candidates will be flexible and professional and must be happy to travel as part of the role.
Contracts will be focused around the West London and surrounding counties, locations considered would be; Redhill, Crawley, Guildford, Reading. West London, South London, Bracknell, Slough, Windsor, High Wycombe, Basingstoke, Newbury.
Experience / Qualifications:
- Experience carrying out L8 compliance duties to ACoP L8 guidelines.
- Good working knowledge of domestic water systems.
- Experience undertaking closed system testing is desirable.
- Able to work on their own or as part of a team.
Duties will include but not limited to;
- Temperature monitoring.
- Water sampling.
- Inspections of cold and heated water storage tanks.
- Showerhead descales.
- Calorifiers flushing.
- Cleans & Disinfections on storage tanks.
- Cooling tower cleans and disinfections.
- TMV inspection, testing and servicing.
- CWST inspections.
- Basic remedial and installation works on hot and cold water systems.
- Updating site logbooks.
