Role Summary
This position involves working within the Raytheon Assured Position Navigation and Timing (APNT) Engineering team to develop Digital GPS Anti-Jam Systems and Alternative Navigation Solutions for military applications. The role covers the entire product lifecycle, from requirements capture to testing, qualification, and certification.
Main Responsibilities
* Support the System Design Authority and Systems Engineering Team Leaders in requirements development and technical documentation.
* Engage in systems analysis and design, participate in technical reviews, and assist in bid proposal development.
* Model in Simulink and MATLAB, develop algorithms, generate auto-code, and assess system performance.
* Work at Raytheon’s Harlow facility, collaborating with internal stakeholders and participating in product testing and development studies.
* Support the team in solving complex technical challenges and ensure timely delivery following company processes.
Candidate Requirements
* Experience in the systems engineering lifecycle, including requirements to certification.
* Proficiency with Simulink and MATLAB for design, analysis, and testing.
* Experience in technical documentation, policies, and procedures.
* Ability to work both collaboratively and autonomously.
* Degree in STEM or equivalent.
* SC security clearance or eligibility.
* Knowledge of GNSS systems, RF and digital hardware design, verification & validation, SysML/UML, and related tools.
