A Private Equity owned business based near Southampton is recruiting for a technically strong financial accountant to join them as they continue to grow and develop new revenue streams. They are already a market leading business who are innovators in their field and on a growth trajectory to double their turnover over the next few years.
Working as part of their high performing finance team and reporting to the Head of Reporting the Senior Financial Accountant will:
1. Produce financial statements and information for a number of entities.
2. Ensure accurate balance sheet reporting and reconciliations.
3. Be the key contact for the external auditors and manage the sign off.
4. Prepare external statutory returns.
5. Constantly review and improve financial controls and processes.
The ideal candidate for the Senior Financial Accountant role will:
6. Be a qualified accountant with some pqe gained either in practice or industry.
7. Have excellent technical skills.
8. Possess good systems and excel knowledge.
9. Be ambitious and seeking a company where they can rapidly progress their career in to other areas of finance.
