With 17 locations and a brilliant team of staff and volunteers, we’re proud to support people when they need us most.#### **Hours: 22.5 hours per week (three days a week, which will include working weekends and some bank holidays)**We’re looking for someone proactive, customer-focused, and community-minded to help drive sales, engage our volunteers, and support the day-to-day running of the shop. This is more than just a retail job – it’s a chance to make a real difference locally.As Assistant Shop Manager, you’ll:* Support the shop manager in achieving sales targets and delivering a fantastic customer experience* Help coordinate a team of dedicated volunteers* Ensure attractive stock displays and merchandising to maximise sales* Promote Gift Aid donations and manage donations effectively* Contribute to the development of new promotions and other improvements to retail practice* Take full responsibility in the Shop Manager’s absence (including occasional full-time cover)You will need to hold a full driving licence and be flexible to cover other shops in our catchment area when needed.In return, you will be joining a great team working in a supportive environment for one of Swindon’s best loved charities.
