Full time: Monday, Wednesday & Friday 8.30am - 6pm and Tuesday & Thursday 8.30am - 5.30pm
About The Role
Our Sales Administrator will manage the day‑to‑day processing of paperwork and payments for the auction schedule along with dealing with customers face‑to‑face and on telephone. On sale days you will work alongside the auctioneer to provide clerical support in a fast‑moving environment. The role also involves preparing all vehicle documentation and relevant checks to ensure all information is available for customers.
As a Sales Administrator, you will work with a diverse team of CCA employees throughout the auction journey, engaging with all departments on a daily basis. The role is a great fit for someone who enjoys a varied workload in a fast‑paced environment and who can communicate at all levels and be extremely well‑organised.
Day‑to‑day Duties
* Manage the day‑to‑day processing of paperwork for the auction schedule.
* Deal with customers face‑to‑face and on telephone.
* Prepare all vehicle documentation and relevant checks to ensure all information is available for customers.
* Work alongside the auctioneer to provide clerical support.
* Perform general administration duties as required.
* Keep manager(s) in the loop by preparing updates and reports that showcase completed objectives.
* Stay familiar with company policies and goals and work to ensure all members of the CCA team adhere to set standards.
* Engage with all departments to meet the auction schedule.
Essential Skills
* High level of accuracy and ability to multi‑task during peak periods
* Strong communication and influencing skills
* Good computer literacy with a solid grasp of Word and Excel
* Enjoy working with the public, both face‑to‑face and on the telephone
* Confidence to work independently and as part of a team
* Well‑organised with the ability to ensure all deadlines are met
Nice to Have (Non‑essential)
* Knowledge of Kingfisher; training may be provided for the right candidate.
* Excellent telephone manner.
