We have a great opportunity for a Social Worker to join our fantastic Children with Disabilities Team based at our Victoria Gate office in Woking. We warmly welcome applications from those without specific experience of working with disabled children who can demonstrate an interest in this area of work.
When not working with our residents in the community, we support agile working with a combination of home and office working. We aim to achieve flexibility while ensuring you feel connected to your team and the service.
Salary range is £42,239 - £45,135 per annum. A financial package of up to £6,000 is also offered.

About Working In The Children With Disability Service
You will be joining a service with a stable and committed leadership team where significant improvements have been made. We work closely with parents and families to understand how we can improve the service and learn from their experiences. Our CWD service is committed to achieving the best outcomes for children and young people, maximising their opportunities. We work in partnership with families and consider the needs of the whole family, coordinating with adult services to ensure a smooth transition into adulthood. Positive and consistent relationships with families, social workers, and the wider multidisciplinary team are essential. We collaborate closely with colleagues in family safeguarding and the looked‑after children service.

Your Application, Our Inclusive Approach

* Qualified Social Work degree and SWE Registration
* Car driver with a valid UK licence
* ASYE completed within two years of qualifying
* UK social work experience
* Three years’ post‑qualified experience
Surrey has both urban and rural areas. Social workers will be expected to have a valid driving licence, access to a vehicle and be willing to travel across a wide geographical area.
