A forward-thinking primary school in Lambeth is seeking a thoughtful and skilled SEN TA to join the SEND team from January 2026. The SEN TA will support pupils with a range of additional needs, deliver bespoke intervention programmes and work closely with class teachers to promote independence. This SEN TA post in Lambeth starts January 2026, with induction and handover arranged prior to January 2026. • SEN TA required to support inclusive classroom practice • SEN TA required to work within a nurturing primary school in Lambeth • SEN TA to deliver interventions, support communication and assist with pastoral needs Within Lambeth, the SEN TA will carry out planned interventions, support pupils during lessons and at social times, and help implement sensory and behaviour strategies. The SEN TA will keep clear records of progress, contribute to reviews and liaise with parents and external agencies to secure joined-up support for pupils. Responsibilities Provide daily one-to-one and small-group support to address individual learning targets as a SEN TA. Deliver structured intervention sessions and capture outcomes to inform future planning. Adapt materials and assist with sensory or pastoral routines to support access to learning. Support positive behaviour strategies and model regulation techniques across Lambeth settings. Contribute to transition planning and clear handovers for colleagues. Person specification Proven experience supporting pupils with SEND as a SEN TA. Calm, organised and able to work effectively within the Lambeth school community. Good communicator with strong organisational and record-keeping skills. Available to commence January 2026 and to attend induction before January 2026.
