AutoProtect have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Claims Advisor to join their team here in Harlow, Essex. Salary: £25,421.76 per annum Hours: Monday-Friday 9am-5:30pm 1 in 3 Saturdays 9am-1pm (included in salary) 38.8 hours per week Permanent - Full time Job summary: The Claims Team are looking for a Claims Advisor to join their team. You will qualify claims and ensure accurate and speedy claims resolution giving correct regard to company procedures, insured liabilities and customer sensitivities. What you’ll do: Provide accurate claims advice across a variety of products and the processes involved Resolve claims across a variety of platforms, telephone, email and online Collect accurate information and documents to validate a claim Correctly calculate claims settlement in line with T&C’s Understanding our various customers’ requirements and working with them to ensure they are properly dealt with Maintain company service levels and deliver on set KPI’s Provide support to the Sales team by providing accurate and timely information Handle any complaints associated with a claim as per the complaints process Manage all administration aspects of the claim Other reasonable duties as required What you’ll bring : Skills and competencies Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills A high level of literacy and numeracy Active listening skills Initiative and the ability to adapt quickly to different situations Good written and oral communication skills What we’re looking for: Essential: Good understanding of voice/soft skill Excellent Word and Excel skills Previous experience in a customer service role Preferred : Experience in a FCA regulated environment is preferred but not essential A background in insurance product administration and claim resolution Unfortunately, we are unable to provide sponsorship for work permits.
