Job Overview
This role involves providing housing support within a high-quality housing service located in Stevenage. The focus is on supporting Separated Migrant Children aged 16 to 18, working collaboratively with Children Services and other external agencies. The aim is to assist young people in transitioning from dependence to independence through personal counselling, support, and skill development, including mental health, trauma, English as a second language, and life skills.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide high-quality, person-centred housing support, including support plans, risk assessments, and guidance.
2. Identify and promote personal development opportunities for residents.
3. Engage actively with residents to enhance their experience and outcomes.
4. Work towards achieving Key Performance Indicators and maintain high service standards.
Additional Duties
* Work flexible hours as negotiated with the line manager, aligned with service user needs.
* Empower residents to develop skills and confidence for independent living.
* Respect residents as individuals and promote their participation in the community.
* Offer appropriate choices ensuring safety and well-being.
