Home provides short break care for people aged 16-65 years old with disabilities. The service is focused on supporting people to enjoy a break away from their family home, building resilience whilst offering respite for those providing day-to-day caring responsibilities. The home has been purpose built to provide specialist accommodation for people with moderate to severe learning difficulties, Autism, ADHD and associated behavioural challenges, people who use the service may also present with sensory impairment, physical disabilities, and sexualised behaviours or equally, with complex health care needs. People stay with those who have similar support needs and abilities to keep young people safe and to maximise the opportunities to build relationships should they wish. Our aim, whilst supporting people with the relevant aspects of their care, is to develop a person’s independence often in preparation for adulthood (16-18) and help people to enjoy life to the maximum, with activities Shift Variations: 7.00 - 15:00 / 15:00 - 22:00 / 21.15 - 07.15
