Pay: £120 - £150 per day (based on experience), increasing in line with AWR after 12 weeks
A vibrant and supportive primary school located near Penwortham is seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 6 Class Teacher to join their team from September 2025.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed educator to play a key role in supporting pupils through their final year of primary education. You will be responsible for delivering a rich and engaging curriculum, preparing pupils for SATs, and contributing to the wider life of the school.
Who We’re Looking For:
* A fully Qualified Teacher (QTS)
* Must have completed or be undertaking the statutory Induction Period
* Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are welcome and encouraged to apply
* Strong understanding of Key Stage 2, particularly Year 6 curriculum and assessment
* Confident classroom presence and the ability to inspire and motivate learners
Pay & Agency Workers Regulations (AWR):
The pay range for this role is £120 - £150 per day, depending on experience.
After 12 weeks in post, your pay will adjust in line with Agency Workers Regulations (AWR). This means you’ll be entitled to the same pay and working conditions as a permanent teacher employed directly by the school, including pay in line with the appropriate point on the Main Pay Scale (M1–M6).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
