This is a full-time Chef-de-Partie position based in Central London with strong progression prospects and training within a global hospitality brand. The Chef-de-Partie Role As a Chef-de-Partie, you’ll take charge of your own section in our busy kitchen, delivering high-quality dishes for restaurant service, bar dining, and banqueting events. Your key Chef-de-Partie duties will include: * Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes to hotel brand standards across restaurant, bar, and banqueting operations. * Managing mise-en-place and ensuring your section runs efficiently during busy afternoon and evening services. * Supporting senior chefs and working alongside a dynamic team of Chefs-de-Partie and Commis Chefs. * Maintaining the highest levels of food quality, consistency and presentation. * Monitoring food safety, storage, temperature control, HACCP and allergen compliance. * Training and mentoring junior chefs within your section. * Managing portion control, stock rotation and minimising waste. * Assisting with menu planning and daily specials when required. This Chef-de-Partie role covers both a la carte restaurant service and large-scale banqueting, offering variety and the chance to enhance your skills in multiple areas of hotel catering. What We’re Looking For We’re looking for a talented and motivated Chef-de-Partie with: * Proven experience as a Chef-de-Partie or strong Demi Chef-de-Partie within a quality hotel, restaurant or banqueting venue. * Ability to manage your own section under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen. * Strong organisational skills and a passion for high standards. * Availability to work afternoon and evening shifts, including weekends, on a rotating schedule. * Knowledge of modern cooking techniques and excellent food safety awareness. * A positive attitude and strong teamwork ethic. * Culinary qualifications or equivalent experience in professional kitchens.
