As our new People and Culture Manager, you’ll play a central role in shaping how we reward, recognise, and engage our colleagues, while also supporting them throughout their journey with us. This is initially a part-time role (3 days a week) with the possibility to increase to 4 days. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing organisation where you’ll be able to make a real impact, balancing strategic projects with hands-on delivery.
Responsibilities
* Design and deliver innovative reward, pay, and recognition programmes.
* Manage payroll, pensions, and benefits, ensuring compliance and great value for employees.
* Partner with managers to drive performance management, learning, and development.
* Provide trusted advice on employee relations, including grievance and disciplinary cases.
* Research, recommend, and roll out new benefits that truly enhance employee wellbeing.
* Lead clear communication of policies and benefits, making sure our people feel informed and supported.
* Support change projects, TUPE processes, and the integration of new businesses into Civic.
* Champion inclusion, engagement, and a culture of belonging.
Qualifications
* CIPD Level 7 qualified (or equivalent) with broad HR generalist experience.
* Experienced in reward, benefits, pensions, and salary benchmarking.
* Confident managing employee relations with empathy and fairness.
* Skilled at balancing strategic work with hands-on delivery.
* Collaborative, approachable, and passionate about people.
