The role
Southern Housing are looking for a Senior Care Worker to join our Scheme at Furze Brake, Newport, Isle of Wight?.
As Senior Care Worker you will assist the Registered Manager onsite to deliver a high level of care for our elderly and frail residents, ensuring care is compliant with CQC regulations and that all Health & Safety protocol is adhered to.
This role is a part timeposition of 25 hours and theworking hours are between 9am-5pm.
This role will entail shift work which may include weekends and bank holidays.
You will require a Valid UK Driving License and access to your own vehicle.?
What youll be doing?
To support the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager to line manage staff including supervision, appraisals, absence monitoring, and providing them with appropriate support and training to ensure their continuing personal and professional development as well as compliance with regulations
Maintain awareness of all legislative and contractual agreements for effective and quality service provision.
Monitor and assist with the development of resident involvement, daily activities and social inclusion within the wider community.
Assist the Registered Manager and deputy manager in the assessment of potential residents if required.
