Role Overview
DV Cleared Network Engineer. Initially until the end of March 2028, with extensions, Inside or IR35, 2-3 days per week on site in the South West, with work from home.
This role is based on a network engineer with proven experience, operating at CCNP level or above. Current certification is not a requirement, but ability must be demonstrable. The role delivers design refinement, implementation and test of network configurations with a focus on production of secure, repeatable solutions concurrent with producing supporting engineering documentation for all configuration elements.
Key Responsibilities
* Skills in Network Monitoring and Traffic Analysis to maintain performance, security, and service reliability.
* Strong experience with Hardware and Software Configuration, supporting efficient deployment and lifecycle management.
* Competencies in producing Technical Documentation and knowledge sharing to enhance team knowledge and capability.
* Able to support Strategic Network Infrastructure Planning to drive long term improvement and resilience.
* Effective in Stakeholder Engagement and Communication, fostering trusted relationships across technical and non-technical groups.
* Proven experience in exploiting ESXi 8.0.3.
* Proven experience in exploiting vSphere 8.0.3.

Security Clearance
Due to the nature and urgency of this post, candidates holding or who have held high level security clearance in the past are most welcome to apply. Successful applicants will be required to be security cleared prior to appointment which can take a minimum 18 weeks.
