We are looking for an experienced IT Security Manager to take ownership of a hands-on security function within a global environment for one of our long standing clients. This role requires both strong technical expertise and proven leadership skills, ensuring information security standards are upheld while guiding and developing a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the IT Security team, overseeing day-to-day operations and ensuring compliance with industry and company standards.
* Develop and implement IT security strategy, policies and practices across the organisation.
* Manage incident response, investigation, and reporting, ensuring risks are addressed effectively.
* Collaborate with IT and business leaders to ensure secure delivery of systems, applications and services.
Candidate Requirements
* Extensive IT security experience in a global environment, including incident management and compliance.
* Strong technical knowledge of networks, cloud computing, and security systems.
* Proven people management, leadership, and mentoring skills.
* Experience with ISO 27001 and knowledge of data protection legislation such as GDPR.
