Job Description
Overview:
The Centre Manager oversees the daily operations of the Young Learner Centre, ensuring high-quality language programs, excursions, and activities, while maintaining a safe environment and adhering to safeguarding policies.
Main Duties:
* Manage daily centre operations: arrivals, departures, rooming, catering, housekeeping.
* Manage weekly rota, including shift changes and absences.
* Coordinate with on-site team and report damages.
* Implement health, safety, and safeguarding procedures.
* Plan and deliver student inductions.
* Hold team meetings and supervise performance.
* Oversee finances and ensure profitability.
* Maintain accreditation standards and prepare for inspections.
* Communicate with Head Office regularly and report on centre performance.
Students & Pastoral Care:
* Ensure student safety and wellbeing.
* Address discipline and welfare issues.
* Implement welfare routines and administer First Aid and medicines.
Child Protection & Safeguarding:
* Adhere to safeguarding policies and act as DSL if applicable.
* Record and escalate concerns appropriately.
* Maintain safe environment and ratios.
Additional Responsibilities:
* Work as part of a team, attend meetings, and uphold professional standards.
* Ensure compliance with rules and dress code.
* Participate in training and meetings.

Minimum Experience & Skills:
* Experience in senior summer camp roles and working with multinational students.
