Overview
We are looking to appoint a kind and caring Teaching Assistant/Learning Support Assistant to work in our inclusive and successful village school. Previous experience of working in the Early Years Foundation Stage, KS1 and a knowledge of SEN needs is desirable but not essential. This role could include working with groups or working 1-1 with a child with SEND needs. A level 3 qualification is desirable but not essential.

About the role
1. To prepare classroom and associated areas for use, setting out/putting away
equipment, apparatus etc.
2. To participate in the planning process and discuss with relevant members of
the teaching staff programmes for the lesson/ day/ week/ term.
3. General observation of children, giving feedback to appropriate staff - as
relevant.
4. To monitor children's progress, or otherwise, identifying particular needs,
difficulties, problems and, to discuss these with relevant member(s) of the
teaching staff.
5. To promote the positive image of the School within the local community.
