Location: Manchester / Chester commutable
Salary: Up to £30k (dependent on experience)
Monday Friday / Day time Hours / Fresh Food Menus / Fine Dining / Creative Menu Development

We have a fantastic opportunity for a talented junior chef to join a truly unique company and be a key part of their chef team who create exceptional world cuisine and daily changing menus.
The ideal candidate will be a junior Chef, and it is essential you already have some Chef experience. You may have worked to CDP or Junior Sous level, you will be ambitious and keen to keep learning and developing your knowledge and skills in the kitchen.
Passion for cooking, being a team player and working to high standards are essential qualities we are looking for.
You will also need to be a good communicator as good people skills are essential for this role.
This is a unique opportunity where you will join a small yet passionate team creating exciting daily changing fresh food menus, working with world cuisines, creative menu development and produce occasional event and fine dining menus.
You will also have the benefit of working with and learning from a Michelin star level chef.
The role:
Contribute to creating high quality daily fresh food nutritious menus, catering for a wide range of dietary requirements.
. Deliver specialist menus and canapes on a weekly basis, including creative fine dining menus
Work in a small team environment, supporting and collaborating to deliver exceptional food, service and standards.
Actively engage with wider teams, being a great communicator is part of your daily role.
Assist in ensuring food compliance, Health and safety, food safety, and allergen management and high standards of cleanliness throughout the kitchen operation.
The Candidate:
We are looking for a junior chef; you may have worked to CDP or Junior Sous level within a quality fresh food operation - fine dining experience is desirable.
A good communicator and team player are essential characteristics; you will have a natural drive to achieve customer satisfaction with an open and collaborative nature. You are a supportive team member and happy to go the extra mile to help and support your colleagues.
Passionate about producing exciting, vibrant, food, and world-wide cuisines with the ability to balance compliance and creativity.
A willingness to seek feedback on menu ideas and be open to change to keep customers happy and content.
Happy to step outside of your comfort zone and enjoy a challenge and a willingness to work across all areas of the kitchen and pitch in with cleanliness and organisation.
. A good understanding of Health and safety, food safety, and allergens alongside high standards of cleanliness are essential.
. Computer literate, with basic IT skills is desirable.
. Excellent people skills and a positive attitude in the workplace are essential qualities for this role.
