1st / 2nd Line Support Technician (Progression to Helpdesk Team Leader) Fareham, Hampshire £27,000 - £32,000 per year We are seeking a 1st/2nd Line Support Technician to deliver high-quality IT support within a fast-paced software environment. You will support users with hardware and software issues via phone, email, remote access, and in-person interactions, ensuring excellent customer service and minimising downtime. Key Responsibilities: Provide 1st/2nd line service desk support Install, upgrade, and troubleshoot Windows and hardware systems Log, manage, and resolve support tickets in line with SLAs Troubleshoot LAN/WAN and TCP/IP networking issues Escalate complex issues where required Participate in an on-call rota (once competent)Desirable Skills & Experience: 1-2 years' experience in an IT support role Knowledge of EPoS systems, Windows OS, networking, and desktop hardware Experience with remote support tools, SQL Server, and Microsoft services Strong customer service and communication skillsBenefits: BUPA & Pension after successful probation Career progression opportunities Apply now!
