English Teacher Location: SussexPay Rate: £168 - £260+ per dayJob Type: Daily Supply or Long Term Supply Reed Education are seeking English Teacher available to start immediately for both long-term and short-term positions. This role is ideal for someone who is experienced in teaching the English curriculum in UK schools and is adept at planning and marking. Day-to-day of the role: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.Assess and track student progress, adapting teaching methods to meet individual student needs.Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that promotes student well-being and learning.Participate in staff meetings, parent evenings, and school events as required.Collaborate with other teaching staff to enhance the curriculum and learning experience for students. Required Skills & Qualifications: Hold a valid teaching qualification such as PGCE, QTS, or QTLS.Proven experience teaching English at secondary level (KS3 & KS4).Strong classroom management and communication skills.Must hold a current DBS check or be prepared to apply for a new one.
