Overview
Windsor Forest Colleges Group is looking for a Learning Support Assistant 1:1 to join our BCA team on a permanent, term-time only basis. The position involves working 37 hours per week (Monday – Friday) for 37 term-time weeks per year.
Responsibilities
The Learning Support Assistant 1:1 enables students to access the curriculum as fully as possible, supporting them to work towards their desired outcomes, achieving their learning goals and potential. You will work under the direction and supervision of the Curriculum Director, Programme Manager and lecturers to assist with teaching, learning and associated activities in accordance with college policies, procedures and individual Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP).
This role includes working 1:1 with learners with specific needs; assisting with planning, delivery and evaluation of learning activities; and working closely with pastoral and welfare staff to help students overcome learning, physical or emotional barriers.
