Responsibilities
* Greeting customers warmly and offering assistance with their shopping needs
* Maintaining visual merchandising standards to ensure attractive product displays
* Managing stock levels and organising stockroom areas efficiently
* Operating the till system accurately while demonstrating excellent phone etiquette when handling enquiries
* Assisting with inventory counts and replenishing shelves as needed
* Ensuring the sales floor remains clean, tidy, and welcoming at all times
* Demonstrating organisational skills by prioritising tasks effectively throughout shifts
Experience
* Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
* Strong communication skills combined with organisational abilities are vital for success in this role
* Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
* Knowledge of merchandising techniques and upselling strategies will be beneficial
* Excellent time management skills to balance multiple responsibilities efficiently

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.22-£13.61 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
Ability to commute/relocate:
* Berwick-Upon-Tweed: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Application question(s):
* This role requires availability to work both Saturdays and Sundays on a rota basis. You will not be required to work every weekend, but full weekend availability is essential. Are you able to commit to this?
