Predominantly an outdoors role, you'll assist with car parking, will loan out off-road powered mobility vehicles & will assist in driving the visitor shuttle. You'll also be an active 1st Aider at Work (full training given). Day to day, you’ll deliver a great all-round customer service experience. You’ll be on hand answering queries and listen to what our visitors need so you can share the right information. Your role is to make sure our visitors have the best day they can. You’ll have the chance to be involved in different aspects of the visitor experience, from key property events to social media promotion - no two days are the same.You’ll provide a fantastic welcome to visitors to the property, will take payment for admission whilst actively promoting National Trust membership. You'll also be responsible for cashing up the till and following correct financial processes. Actively involved with growing support, you’ll help to increase fundraising income in the second-hand bookshop and through sales of pin badges and guidebooks. You'll also be involved in helping to deliver our programme of events throughout the season including our family activities and general visitor offer.
