Position: Theatre Practitioner – Operating Department Practitioner (Scrub – RGN / ODP)
Location: Tees Hospital, Nuffield Health – Permanent, Full time (includes weekend work)
Salary: Up to £36,000 per annum depending on experience (37.5 hours per week)
Responsibilities
* Work in a multidisciplinary team covering a varied patient caseload
* Use state‑of‑the‑art technology, equipment and facilities
* Supervise, support and develop junior members of the team
* Provide high‑quality perioperative care in a multidisciplinary team setting
* Create high‑quality care and patient experiences that are clinically effective and evidence‑based
* Have ample opportunities for continuous growth and personal development, which can include Surgical First Assist training
Qualifications
Registered with the appropriate governing body (NMC or HCPC) and possess post‑registration experience in scrub roles within a theatre environment. Experience in orthopaedic scrub is ideal. Strong communication skills, empathy and attention to detail are essential.
