Join the leading supplier of site-mix and ready-mixed concrete in the Eastern Region!
As an HGV Class 2 Readymix Concrete Driver, youll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring our concrete reaches a variety of sites and customers. This full-time role offers 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Plus an annual salary between £32,572.80 to £36,816.80, including average overtime earnings.
Desired Skills & Experience:
Hold a full HGV Licence with Driver Qualification Card and Driver CPC
Knowledge of Cambridge roads would be beneficial
You will need to be enthusiastic, reliable and customer focussed
Excellent time and communication skills are essential
Ability to build and retain positive internal and external relationships
Flexible in your approach and willing to learn all aspects of the business to carry out various duties
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Ensure the safe and efficient delivery of ready-mix concrete to various locations.
Complete daily vehicle checks and keep your truck in top condition.
Work in accordance with safe practices and legislation with regards to Driver Hours and the Working Time Directive.
Complete required paperwork with good attention to detail.
Assist the Plant Supervisor as required.
