To provide a specialised, comprehensive, and confidential patient-centred clinical administration and secretarial service to the Cardiothoracic Consultants and their teams in accordance with Departmental, Trust, and National standards, policies, and procedures.
To act as a main point of contact and source of advice and guidance regarding the specialism.
To work as part of a large established Admin Team and collaborate with other subspecialties within the T&O group.

Key Responsibilities:
* Act as a senior point of contact to manage enquiries effectively, ensuring timely resolution and proper record-keeping.
* Maintain up-to-date, organized clinical documentation accessible for clinical decisions, collaborating with relevant personnel.
* Organize patient care activities in accordance with policies and targets, working with various teams to manage waiting lists, outpatient clinics, and elective care pathways.
* Implement and maintain efficient office management systems to optimize patient care services, including managing schedules, correspondence, and office supplies.
* Contribute to patient and business improvements through project work, data reporting, and suggesting service enhancements.
