PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
* With new exciting client mandates, we are looking for a talented transactional real estate solicitor (4-6 years PQE) to join our expanding team in Glasgow.
* You will act for a number of FTSE 100 clients in all aspects of commercial real estate, focusing on investors and developers.
* You will work on various real estate tasks, including asset management, acquisitions and sales, leasing, and collaborating with some of the firm's principal client teams.

* The Real Estate Division is one of AG's largest, with over 200 members. The Transactional Real Estate team operates across Edinburgh and Glasgow, with regular collaboration between offices.
* The team boasts a strong client base and handles high-quality transactions across the UK.
* The team culture is supportive, motivated, and down-to-earth, emphasizing teamwork and excellent client service.
* Partners are actively involved in work delivery, providing support at all levels, fostering a collaborative environment.
WHAT TO EXPECT IN THIS ROLE:
* Support a variety of work, including acting for investors and developers in commercial property transactions.
* Manage large projects, utilize the latest legal technology, and work with paralegals and junior team members.
* Maintain and develop client relationships, providing timely and high-quality advice.
* Collaborate within a cohesive team to execute high-value client matters.
* Supervise a trainee within the Glasgow TRE Team.
* Work with the transaction services team, supporting client delivery and routine tasks.
* Participate in training sessions for junior team members and attend technical and skill training.
* Engage in and organize business development activities.
YOUR AREAS OF KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE:
* Experienced Associate (4-6 years PQE) with a background in commercial Real Estate law.
* Excellent communication skills and a good understanding of real estate law.
* Enthusiastic, resilient, and ambitious to solve legal challenges.
* Confident stakeholder management skills, engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
* Thorough, consultative approach to tasks.
* Curious about clients and their needs, providing impactful advice.
* Efficient in diary and task management, delivering high client service standards.
* Proficient in drafting clear, legally effective documents.
* Calm and optimistic under pressure or in time-sensitive situations.
