Scientist II – Reading - £20.94-£28.31 PH – 6 months (Microbiology)
Working as part of a cross-functional team, you will deliver RDQ activities required to complete new product development, portfolio maintenance, and productivity projects with an emphasis on meeting the desired consumer experience.
Responsibilities include:
* Working on teams and independently under the guidance of a manager
* Prioritizing and managing activities
* Proactively identifying problems and creating/implementing solutions
* Applying technical understanding to interpret and analyze data to reach conclusions
* Communicating effectively both verbally and in writing, including technical reports
* Executing projects in accordance with GMP requirements
* Writing technical reports and interpreting results to lead to conclusions and recommendations
Successful candidates will have a desire to drive their future and accelerate their career with experience in Food Science, a science or chemical engineering degree, ideally within an FMCG market. Proactiveness in ingredient research and technical solutions, previous experience in product development within the food industry, food manufacturing, and collaboration with cross-functional teams are desirable.
