We’re looking for a Sales Advisor to join our successful team at Vertu Hyundai Edinburgh West.
This role offers a competitive basic salary of £30,000, with on-target earnings of £36,000 and the opportunity to earn well above this level. No previous experience is required, making this a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to start or build a career in automotive sales.
We provide full training and a comprehensive onboarding programme to set you up for success and help you maximise your earnings from day one. After six months, you’ll have the opportunity to progress into a Sales Executive role (should you wish to), increasing your on-target earnings to £45,000+, along with a Company Car.
As well as excellent earning potential, we’re committed to supporting a healthy work-life balance. You’ll work a 40-hour week (five 8-hour shifts), including most Saturdays (our busiest sales day), with a guaranteed day off during the week. We’re closed on Sundays, so you can enjoy a regular day to relax and recharge every week.
As a Sales Advisor, you’ll support customers throughout their entire car-buying journey. From arranging test drives and helping customers choose the right finance options, to guiding them through vehicle accessories, you’ll play a key role in delivering an outstanding customer experience. Our team engages with customers online, in-store, over the phone and via video, both locally and nationally, so strong communication skills and confidence in using technology are essential.
All we ask is that you hold a full driving licence (manual and automatic) and can demonstrate excellent customer service skills. If you’ve worked in retail, hospitality, customer service or a sales-led environment, we’d love to hear from you.
