Registered Veterinary Nurse - Brighton Hospital (Brighton Referrals)
Exciting full‑time role available working primarily at our main hospital site and covering our two smaller sites. The Brighton Clinic is based within our flagship hospital in central Brighton, providing a comprehensive range of general practice veterinary services including medicine, surgery, radiography, CT, ultrasound and dentistry. On‑site nursing clinics are supported by excellent hospital facilities.
You will consult, provide dedicated operating days (at least one per week), care for inpatients and maintain regular communication with clients, building our client base. Hours will include 37.5 hours over four days per week, including weekends and bank holidays.
Responsibilities
* Consult patients, manage routine surgeries, and assist in complex procedures.
* Provide nursing care for inpatients and attend walking and nursing clinics.
* Maintain accurate medical records and support clinical decision‑making.
* Communicate effectively with clients, fostering a supportive client relationship.
Qualifications
* Registered with the RCVS.
* Minimum 3+ years qualified veterinary nurse experience.
* Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation.
* Competent in routine surgeries and capable of supporting more complex procedures.
