This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to significant Defence projects, supporting the delivery of acquisition safety policies and ensuring systems are safe and effective for Front Line Commands. The role involves end-to-end management of safety risks, providing technical advice, and working towards successful engineering outcomes that make a real difference. Key Details Location: Bristol (Hybrid working - 2 to 3 days onsite per week) Contract: Until 30 June 2026, with potential for extension Security Clearance: SC (essential) Day Rate: Up to £425 per day (ex VAT) Hours: 7.5 hours per day Your Role Support the delivery of Land Systems safety policies and initiatives. Manage safety risks throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring equipment and systems meet safety standards. Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams, offering expertise and ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Contribute to the ongoing safety assurance and lifecycle management of land-based systems. What Were Looking For An NVQ Level 3 or higher in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics discipline. Proven experience in providing technical advice and delivering successful engineering outcomes, preferably within the land domain. Working towards or holding professional registration with a relevant professional body, such as EngTech or RSciTech. SC clearance is a required due to timescales.
