We are delighted to have an opportunity to appoint up to 12 months Fixed Term/Secondment professional development opportunity Cancer Support Worker to join our establish team of cancer clinical nurse specialists within Upper GI Cancer.
Working with speciality teams to improve the patient experience. You will work to ensure that patients are seen promptly and by the most appropriate person. You will work with the MDT to support the development of the new stratified patient support pathways.
You will work across our two main hospital sites as the service requires. You will receive support to develop into this new role alongside our existing support worker and CNS team
As the Band 4 administrator you will provide administrative and secretarial support to process bookings, referrals, collate reports, audits etc and develop with the service, under the guidance of the specialist nurses.
Evidence of good general education to GSCE Grace C (4) or above, including Maths & English, NVQ Level 3/4 in Business Administration, Customer Service, Healthcare Support Services or equivalent qualification
