Job Description
We are hiring a General Manager to lead our secondary school catering team, ensuring future generations are provided with nutritionally balanced and tasty food. This role is term-time only, with no weekends, offering great flexibility.
The role includes:
* Salary: Up to £32,000 per annum
* Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday
* Term-time only, working 195 weeks per year
Key responsibilities:
* Oversee the preparation, cooking, and presentation of food to meet Caterlink and client standards
* Ensure compliance with statutory and company requirements regarding Health and Safety, Food Safety, and environmental legislation
* Enhance the company's reputation for excellent food and service, exceeding client and customer expectations
* Manage the day-to-day operations of the location, supervise teams, manage inventories, monitor budgets, and implement action plans
* Serve as the main point of contact for the client at your school, recommending and implementing improvements
* Regularly communicate with your line manager to monitor KPIs and financial targets
* Support and train team members, leading from the front to ensure all training is completed and performance managed

Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years' experience in an Education Catering Management role. We seek a confident, competent individual who can inspire our team with passion and pride.
