NIHE Agency Opportunities - (Joiner, Electrician & Labourer)
Location: BELFAST
NIHE Direct is currently seeking experienced and reliable agency staff to support service delivery across our North and West Belfast Response teams. We have multiple temporary opportunities available for Joiners, Electricians, and General Labourers
Available Roles
Joiner B4
1. Rate: £ per hour
2. Hours: 37 per week (8:00am - 4:00pm)
Requirements:
3. NVQ Level 1 (Level 2 desirable)
4. 1-5 years' experience
5. Ability to carry out all types of joinery work independently
6. CSR training
7. Own standard joinery tools required
8. Basic IT skills
Electrician B5
9. Rate: £ per hour
10. Hours: 37 per weekMon-Thurs: 08:30 - 16:30Fri: 08:30 - 16:00
Requirements:
11. Time-served electrician
12. 18th Edition qualification
13. Inspection & Testing (2391 or equivalent)
14. Sparksafe registration
15. 1-5 years' experience
Duties include:
16. Domestic electrical repairs and testing
17. Installation and servicing of fans
18. Installation of smoke alarms
19. Replacement of sockets, switches, and appliances
20. Electrical testing in occupied and void properties
General Labourer B2
21. Rate: £ per hour
22. Duration: 16 February 2026 - 16 May 2026
23. Hours: 37 per weekMon-Thurs: 08:30 - 16:30Fri: 08:30 - 16:00
Duties include:
24. Fencing installation and repairs
25. Preparing and clearing properties
26. Insulation fitting, painting, and power washing
27. Identifying and sealing rodent access points
28. Supporting trades (joiners, bricklayers, roofers, etc.)
Requirements:
29. Physically fit and reliable
30. Good work ethic and timekeeping
31. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
32. Previous experience desirable but not essential
General Requirements (All Roles)
33. Access NI Basic clearance
34. Strong commitment to health and safety
35. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
