Electrical Engineering — AI Data Trainer

We're looking for experienced electrical engineers to help train and improve cutting‑edge AI models. Your deep technical knowledge will directly shape how AI reasons through complex engineering problems — from circuit analysis to signal processing to control systems.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. You set your hours, work independently, and contribute to some of the most advanced AI research happening today.

* Organization: Alignerr
* Type: Hourly Contract
* Location: Remote
* Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

What You'll Do

* Design Challenging Problems — Craft advanced electrical engineering problems across domains like circuit analysis, power systems, signal processing, electromagnetics, and embedded systems to probe AI reasoning and expose its limits.
* Author Gold‑Standard Solutions — Write rigorous, step‑by‑step technical solutions that serve as benchmarks for AI learning and evaluation.
* Audit Technical Accuracy — Review AI‑generated circuit diagrams, mathematical proofs, and code for correctness, safety, and adherence to engineering standards (e.g., IEEE, NEC).
* Sharpen AI Reasoning — Identify logical gaps and flawed reasoning in AI outputs, then provide structured, expert feedback to guide model improvement.

Who You Are

* Pursuing or holding a Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a closely related field
* Strong foundational knowledge in one or more core domains: VLSI, control systems, telecommunications, power electronics, or signal processing
* Able to communicate highly technical concepts clearly and precisely in written form
* Exceptionally detail‑oriented when working with equations, circuit logic, and technical documentation
* No prior AI experience required — your engineering expertise is what matters

Nice to Have

* Prior experience with data annotation, technical writing, or evaluation systems
* Familiarity with simulation tools (MATLAB, SPICE, etc.)
* Background in standards compliance or engineering documentation

Why Join Us

* Work on genuinely cutting‑edge AI projects alongside world‑leading research teams
* Fully remote and asynchronous — work when and where it suits you
* Freelance flexibility: autonomy, variety, and global collaboration
* Gain rare insight into how advanced large language models are built and trained
* Potential for ongoing work and contract extension
