Job Purpose
Working as part of a small team this role is responsible for overseeing the full employment life cycle HR administration activities including HR administration, preemployment checks, onboarding, and some limited payroll activities (as required). We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, pro-active, can-do, and highly organised individual in a supporting role to the HR department.
You will have core responsibilities in HR administration, monthly headcount reporting, overtime reporting & consolidation and limited HR/Payroll action processing.
This role is Monday - Friday 3 days based in our Reigate office and 2 days WFH. 37.5 hours per week and working hours can be, or with half hour lunch (unpaid)
The salary for the role is between £30,000 - £32,448 + up to 7.5% bonus
Indicative duties will include but are not limited to:
* Act as first point of contact for incoming HR/Payroll/Onboarding queries including monitoring emails and answering phone enquiries, being the friendly face of the HR Team and providing an exceptional level of customer service to all employees.
* Process payroll data, including new hires, terminations, and employee changes, accurately into the HR/Payroll system.
* Refer any HR enquires to the HR Advisor, relevant HR Business Partners or Head of HR as appropriate.
* Support the Talent Acquisition Advisor by preparing documentation and contracts for new hires and administer the process for new hires.
* Completion of offer letters, employment contracts and all new starter paperwork
* Ensure that all necessary employment checks including, right to work checks and reference checks are completed, raising any issues with the broader HR team.
* Coordinate all types of reference requests and support the application for airside passes and driver permits working with the site operational teams.
* Working with the managers ensure that there is a clear onboarding plan and support with booking HR Inductions as required.
Qualifications:
* Level 3 Award in Human Resources Essentials or Level 3 Diploma in Skills for Business Human Resources
* HR Apprenticeship
* Minimum of 3 - 5 years' experience as a HR Administrator in a medium sized fast paced HR environment
Skills & Experience
* Excellent IT skills, including word, excel and ability to learn other systems quickly.
* Interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others.
* Active listening and good communication skills
* Effective English communication skills (verbal & written).
* Organisational skills
* Detail oriented and high attention to detail.
* Ability to work to tight deadlines and time pressures.
* Knowledge of a range of Human Resources and payroll systems
* Knowledge of human resources and employment law
