Job Description Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager required to join a global Compressed Air Manufacturer. The successful Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager will work remotely, covering regions within southern Europe, predominantly Germany and other European companies managing key accounts, driving sales and bringing on new business in the compressed air sector. The Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager will ideally have experience within the compressed air sector such as Vacuums, Blowers, Dryers, Compressors, air fittings, Air filters or similar compressed air related products. Must be bilingual, fluent in English and German. Spanish or Italian is a plus. Package € 60,000 - € 70,000 depending on experience Bonus scheme Mobile Car allowance Holidays phone, laptop plus additional benefits Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager Role Managing a number of key accounts via the distribution channels and OEM customers in to various industries. Train the distributor Sales force and keep regular communication with distributors to grow market share. Identify and help marketing campaigns. Manage and grow existing relationships as well as business development selling various compressed air products and the services Maintaining Compressed Air sales with demonstration, exhibition and negotiation in order to achieve targets. Selling various products such as Vacuums, Blowers, Dryers, Compressors, air fittings, Air filters or similar mechanical engineering products Working closely with the Service Department to ensure an excellent standard of after-sales service is provided. Liaise with various engineering departments. Covering various regions in Germany. Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager Requirements. Will have at least 3 years ’ experience in the compressed air industry. Experience selling or servicing mechanical engineering equipment such as compressors, Blowers, Dryers, vacuums, Air filters and similar products. A Manufacturing Engineer Process Engineer or Service Engineers looking to come off the tools and progress into sales would also be of interest. Determination, enthusiasm, and motivation to succeed and grow with a reputable engineering manufacturer. Must be bilingual, fluent in English and German. Spanish or Italian. A technical qualification, Apprentice trained, HNC, HND or Degree would be advantageous. Full clean driving license. Homebased, willingness to travel and stay away when required.
