Education Inclusion Assistant (Careers and Progression)
Salary: Grade 4 £8,040 to £8,565 per year
Location: Scunthorpe, Church Square House
Hours: 12 hours per week

The Vacancy
The role of an Education Inclusion Assistant is essential to ensure all students, particularly those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), have equitable access to learning. Responsibilities include supporting individualized learning, promoting inclusive practices, and managing emotional and behavioural challenges to foster a safe and supportive classroom environment. Inclusion Assistants help improve academic progress, boost student confidence, and reduce teacher workload by providing targeted assistance and facilitating differentiated instruction. They also strengthen communication with parents and assist the school in meeting legal obligations under SEND legislation. Ultimately, this role contributes to creating a more inclusive, effective, and compassionate educational setting that benefits the entire school community.
