Role Overview: As a System Engineer (DCS & Safety), your primary responsibility will be to serve as the technical focal point throughout the project lifecycle, from handover by sales to project closure. You will be based at our Runcorn office and will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful implementation of automation solutions. Your duties will encompass: DCS software configuration based on client design documentation. Alarm rationalization in line with industry standards. Continuous process control and batch process software programming. Functional Safety SIL classifications and SIF calculations. Detailed design, including function block programming for safety system SIFs. Modifying existing safety systems and conducting impact analysis. Internal testing and leading the Factory Acceptance Test. Managing site installation and conducting Site Acceptance Test. Efficient project closure and document authorization by the customer.
