You will also have access to our Research and Development Academy, designed to develop our team and allow you to grow in our great organisation.About the roleThe R&D Method Development Group are accountable for the highly efficient delivery of new methods utilising the latest technology to provide robust and future proof methods. Based in the busy fast paced analytical laboratory, which is designed for up to 175 analysts, you will provide expert analytical support in the delivery of world-class innovation and continued maintenance of company health brands. Utilising modern technology and capabilities you will support the delivery of effective future proof methods to support our product development and dossier registrations. Reporting to the R&D Method Development Senior Associate, the R&D Method Development Associate is responsible for developing new and improving existing methods for the R&D category teams in line with agreed timelines. Hiring Manager: Alice CaryClosing Date: 11th March 2026Your responsibilitiesEnsure all method development work is conducted in a safe and compliant manner in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Health & Safety/Environmental requirements.Perform method development, validation and transfer activities and provide and review reports within agreed timelines Ensure new methods are developed in line with QbD principles, generating high quality scientific data to support method optimisation, validation & transfer Maintain a close working relationship with R&D category teams and QC laboratories to ensure methods meet the expected standard and utilise current best practicesSupport the wider R&D Community with analytical method troubleshooting via the method consultation clinicEnsure all work is performed and maintained in an audit ready state and where required support any quality initiatives regarding compliance and audit readinessSupport the use and development of the latest technology and capabilities Provide analytical support during method rollout and transferSupport a method life cycle approach by maintaining methods on the global documentation systemsBe responsive to changing priorities within an evolving environmentProvide advice and guidance and, where appropriate, and where required, source information to resolve analytical issues to facilitate method development and validationSupport any LIMS improvements and use within the method development functionTo support the method development senior and or the IET team lead in instrument, procedure and process improvementsActively engage in Continuing Professional Development and training initiativesSupport continuous improvement activities within the team as appropriate The experience we're looking forDegree in a relevant scientific (typically chemistry, life-sciences, Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences,) or business discipline.Demonstrable track record of relevant GMP experience and competence within a Healthcare environmentDemonstrable experience in HPLC / GC method development Agile and capable to deal with multiple projects and deadlinesProactive, Resilient and MotivatedStrong data interpretation and problem-solving skills Demonstrate strong teamwork and commitment to support the team purposeGood communication and networking skills.Self-disciplined; good organisational capabilitiesOpenness to changeA practical scientific person, who enjoys being hands on and developing products and processesSelf-confidence to work independently What we offerWith inclusion at the heart of everything we do, working alongside our four global Employee Resource Groups, we support our people at every step of their career journey, helping them to succeed in their own individual way.We invest in the wellbeing of our people through parental benefits, an Employee Assistance Program to promote mental health, and life insurance for all employees globally.
