Salary & Benefits:
- Competitive salary: £30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience

About the Farm:
This progressive, privately run farming business is launching a new 140-cow robotic dairy unit as the first phase of a larger return to dairy production. Located in the heart of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, the enterprise combines traditional values with modern, high-spec facilities to deliver excellent animal welfare, efficient milk production, and environmental stewardship.
The farm is well-equipped, professionally managed, and situated in a truly stunning rural environment.
About the Role - Key Responsibilities:
As the Herdsperson, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day care and performance of the herd, working with a brand-new robotic milking system and closely with the farm leadership team to ensure high standards across all aspects of dairy production.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Daily herd care, including feeding, bedding, and livestock husbandry
- Monitoring and supporting herd health, fertility, and calving
- Managing youngstock and assisting with calving and veterinary routines
- Maintaining records to meet assurance and compliance standards
- Working with owners to improve performance and efficiency
Ideal Candidate - Skills & Qualifications:
We are looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in dairy farming or a dedicated herdsperson role
- Skilled in calving, herd health management, and livestock welfare
- Passionate about livestock care and high animal welfare standards
- Competent with modern farm machinery and technology
- Reliable, proactive, and a good team player
- A holder of a full UK driving licence
Note: Experience with robotic milking systems is welcome but not essential, training and support will be provided.
