Job Description:
We’re working with a leading international design studio known for delivering bold, sustainable, and geometrically ambitious architecture across the cultural, civic, and urban sectors. From landmark masterplans to cutting-edge museums and climate-driven infrastructure, their work is defined by its global impact and advanced design innovation.
As their London team continues to grow, they’re now looking for a Computational Designer to help develop parametric workflows, digital tools, and performance-driven design solutions across major projects at early and developed stages.
What you’ll be doing:
* Developing and implementing custom computational design tools and parametric workflows using Rhino, Grasshopper, Python, and other scripting environments
* Supporting project teams in the design and rationalisation of complex geometry, from concept through to construction
* Collaborating closely with architects, engineers, and consultants across multiple international offices
* Running environmental and performance-based analysis (e.g. daylight, solar, comfort) to inform early design decisions
* Driving digital design innovation across the studio and contributing to the ongoing evolution of BIM-integrated workflows
What you’ll bring:
* Proven experience as a Computational Designer or Architect, ideally in a design-led studio
* Strong fluency in Rhino, Grasshopper, and scripting tools (e.g. Python, C#); experience with Revit or BIM integration a plus
* A strong portfolio showcasing geometry-led design, custom tools, and performance-driven design strategies
* Familiarity with environmental plug-ins such as Ladybug, Honeybee, or ClimateStudio
* Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to translate complex digital processes into practical design tools for wider teams
Why join this team?
* Be part of a globally recognised practice leading innovation in sustainable, performance-led architecture
* Collaborate with a tight-knit, multi-disciplinary team pushing the boundaries of design computation
* Join a design culture that champions digital design, sustainable thinking, and bold architectural expression
* Hybrid working setup with on-site collaboration in a vibrant, design-focused studio
* Long-term career growth as the digital design team continues to expand across international markets
This is an outstanding opportunity for a computational designer who thrives in fast-paced, concept-rich environments and wants to play a central role in shaping the future of digital design in a globally respected practice.
