Junior Service Engineer Hertfordshire (Field-Based - London & Surrounding Areas) £32,000 DOE Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:30pm (Perm Role) Major Recruitment are hiring for x2 Junior Service Engineers to their growing team. This will be working for a well-established engineering company who specialise in the manufacturing, installation and servicing within the domestic and commercial basement markets This is a great opportunity for someone mechanically and electrically minded who wants hands-on training, real progression, and long-term stability. Duties & Responsibilities: Service, maintenance and repair of systems Fault finding on mechanical and electrical components Assisting with installation and commissioning Diagnosing issues and carrying out repairs on-site Completing job sheets and service reports Providing good customer service on client sites You will be working on submersible ground/surface and foul water systems, either alone or as part of a small team attending private and commercial properties. Ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently What's On Offer £32,000 depending on experience Permanent position 33 days annual leave including Bank Holiday days Paid door-to-door travel time Time and a half from 5:30pm-10pm Double time from 10pm-5am Flat travel time rate Company van (fully kitted out) Fuel card provided Tools, PPE and uniform supplied Ongoing training and development Early finish if jobs are completed ahead of schedule What They're Looking For Mechanical and electrical aptitude Industry experience preferred but not essential Open to different experience levels Full clean UK driving licence (essential) CSCS card desirable Reliable, professional and willing to learn Ideally located in London or within the M25, you have strong analytical skills and a track record in fault finding and troubleshooting.
